Develop and implement a marketing campaign as a Bicycle Friendly Community, including an educational emphasis for both children and adults.
Coordinate with City departments, such as Recreation and Parks and Transportation, to make the use of bicycles an integral part of future planning. For Recreation and Parks to determine connectivity of area parks by bicycle paths; for Dept of Transportation to develop a road striping policy to make existing and new roads safer for bicycles.
Compile comprehensive maps to define Bike Routes and Bike Suitable Roads for public distribution and use.
This Web site is intended to serve as a source of information for anyone interested in cycling in our community.
If you want more bicycle-friendly facilities, cleaner air, and a healthier, safer environment in which to live and work, please join us at Bike Roswell. You don't need to be an experienced bicyclist, just committed to improving conditions for cycling. |
