For full North Fulton Comprehensive Transportation Plan see here
Roswell Riverwalk – Phase V (Underway)
City of Roswell, Georgia Government is set to start the final phase of the Roswell Riverwalk Trail System after nearly 20 years! This final phase will connect the existing terminus of the trail at the Chattahoochee Nature Center to Cobb County line where it will connect to existing additional trail mileage and bike lanes! These trails on Lower Roswell Road will now mean Roswell Residents can move car free from Riverside Park and the Vickery Creek Chattahoochee Unit entrance to the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area #goldbranchunit and #HydeFarm in Cobb. All together these trails will create an approximately 7 mile connection through Roswell and Cobb county for multi-modal transportation and recreation!

TSPLOST projects:
Big Creek Parkway (TSPLOST)
This project will construct a new Complete Street Roadway from Warsaw Road near Worthington Hills Drive across and over SR 400 connecting to Holcomb Woods Parkway at Old Alabama Road. Improvements to Warsaw Road south to Holcomb Bridge Road (SR 140) and Holcomb Woods Parkway to Holcomb Bridge Road (SR 140) are also included. It is anticipated the roadway will include bike lanes and a multi-use path on the roadway. This project is funded by TSPLOST and is currently in the design phase.

Rucker Road Upgrade (Planned)
This joint project with Alpharetta would reconstruct Rucker Road with a multi-use path and sidewalks from SR 140/Houze Road eastward into Alpharetta. Turn lane improvements along Rucker Rd. and intersection improvements at Houze Rd./SR 140 are also anticipated to be included in the final concept. This project is funded by TSPLOST and is currently in the planning phase.

Historic Gateway (SR 9) (Planned)
This project includes several elements to improve the SR 9 corridor from the Chattahoochee River to Marietta Highway (SR 120): Removal of the reversible lane and addition of a fourth travel lane, grade separation of Riverside Road/Azalea Drive intersection with SR 9, and replacement of the Riverside Road bridge. Other proposed improvements consist of a multi-use trail, sidewalk, bike lanes, pedestrian crossings and intersection improvements. The project also includes two roundabouts: one at the Chattahoochee
Street/SR 9 intersection and the other at the Jones Circle/SR 9 intersection. TSPLOST is funding a portion of the project and includes enhancements to the project including streetscapes and possible extra utility relocation. The primary funding for constructing the project are still unidentified but may be provided by Federal or State resources. This project is still in the design phase as it continues to navigate the complex environmental process.
